I know the movie is pretty much CCxLelouch fanservice but come on Like "hey Lelouch you are alive, cool, so what do we do now" In the movie pretty much any interaction with Lelouch after being revived was short It's a shame his role was so small in the movie! I'm glad i paid to watch and support this though. In the end, all i want to say is I WANT MORE JEREMIAH! He was such a well done character that was at first as annoying as suzaku but rapidly grew to be someone I wanted to see on screen more. Having SOME character interaction such as Kallen and leouch was good too (but I feel Kallen gave in way too easy and she becomes wayy more passive to support L2 + C2). There was no more grey morality that the show danced upon but instead was a typical anime movie with MC vs big bad) but the official pairing of C2 and L2 made the movie ticket well worth it. I feel like the plot regarding zhilkhistan was quite boring. So as a summary, I guess i echo a bit of the thoughts of others where I came in expecting the movie to be some sort of fan service/cash grab (which made the rushed movie not as distasteful. I feel like if I had to say who was the one person who knew lelouch the best, stuck with him through thick and thin, and always supports him no matter what, it was CC and i'm glad they end up together. I am also extremely happy to hear that the director has stated lelouch's proposal to be called LL is meant to infer him proposing to CC (meaning the ship is official!). I thought it was really awesome that although lelouch referred to himself with his orginal name (lelouch vi britannia) in the movies, his cover name lelouch lamperouge can be initialised to LL (a funny coincidence?). Though if we are to assume the characters are going to be re-used in the upcoming 10-year project(s), then i suppose it doesn't matter.Īnyway I feel sad you didn't mention the best part of the story! Lelouch decides to go with CC instead of being with nunally (who was everything to him) and calls himself LL. There wasn't anything said about the others (we just assume they just go on with their lives?) after following a rough plan from lelouch? no word of thanks or a last speech? This is in contrast to R2, where the ending was much more clear for everyone. I just feel after the 'big bad' was defeated in resurrection, Lelouch only ever interacted with suzaku, nunally, and C2. All the characters basically in R2 got an update at the end on what they were up to through the narration provided by Kallen. One of the best things I feel about the original Code Geass was that most of the plotlines were resolved and the conclusion really tied them together. The conclusion didn't really feel like a conclusion to me.
